I’m an energy chameleon—goofy, sarcastic, and ready to have fun if that’s your vibe, but just as happy to give you a peaceful, quiet appointment when you need it. I adore doing haircuts, highlights, and balayage, and I never rush a process because your confidence and hair health matter more than a quick result. When I’m not behind the chair with an iced caramel macchiato in hand, you’ll find me snuggling my dog, lost in a book, watching TV, or taking long summer backroad drives to any beach where I can listen to the waves. A professional stylist with over 10 years of experience, Angela loves to help create a style that makes her clients feel beautiful and confident. Staying up-to-date with the trends is important for Angela, which is why she has attended both online and in person education classes. Angela loves to customize her color formulas to meet her clients needs. Nothing inspires her more than watching a color come together in front of the clients’ eyes.

My love for hair started when I was around 12 years old, sketching new hairstyles onto girls in magazines and experimenting with coloring my own hair. From there, my passion only grew. I knew I had found my calling after creating a deep purple color with pink peek-a-boos for a friend—seeing that transformation sparked something in me, and I was hooked. Today, I especially love vivid transformations, blonding services, and creating long, layered, bouncy cuts. There’s something therapeutic about placing foils and watching a beautiful color come to life. While pixies and bobs may not be my specialty, helping my guests feel confident, refreshed, and excited about their hair is what truly fuels my passion. I love that this industry allows me to combine creativity, connection, and endless possibilities every single day.

Before long, I became the friend and family member everyone trusted with their hair, and that passion has never faded. Today, I specialize in healthy hair transformations with a flawless finish, believing that beautiful hair should always be healthy hair. My clients describe me as calm, personable, and uplifting, and I love creating an experience that leaves people feeling confident, refreshed, and ready to conquer the world. What surprises many guests is that cosmetology was my first love but my second career—I previously served as a school principal and earned three degrees, including two master’s degrees in education. At BL Beauty, I cherish the sense of family and the opportunity to serve others through positive transformation. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll find me spending time with my husband and son, serving in church leadership, or expressing my creativity through singing, dancing, writing, reading, and fitness. My goal is for every guest to leave feeling peaceful, excited, and empowered, because I believe transformation starts from the inside out.

I’ve always known I wanted to make people feel good about themselves, and it all started at 17 when my mom came home unhappy with her haircut because the stylist didn’t listen—so I told her I’d do her hair. Forty years later, she still comes to me every Friday! I love cutting and coloring, especially when a client walks in saying they’re ready for a whole new look. With a ginger ale or water nearby, you’ll usually find me soaking in the amazing vibe of BL Beauty—a place where we all get along effortlessly and where I’m genuinely grateful to still be doing what I love. To me, this isn’t just a job; people become part of you. Outside the salon, you’ll catch me deep into a murder mystery or volunteering at the North Smithfield Animal Shelter, where I've spent over 14 years helping animals in need. My goal with every person in my chair is simple: make them feel comfortable, truly heard, and confident walking out the door.

As I got older, I became the go-to hairstylist for friends and family, and by college I had earned the title of “dorm hairdresser.” That’s when I knew this wasn’t just a hobby—it was my calling. I specialize in blonding and custom color, creating everything from bright, high-impact blondes to dimensional, lived-in looks that fit both your personal style and your lifestyle. My clients describe me as bubbly, approachable, and easygoing, and I love tailoring each appointment to the energy my guest needs, whether that’s a fun conversation or a relaxing escape. At BL Beauty, my favorite part is the supportive, family-like atmosphere and the genuine connections we build with our clients. To me, being a stylist is about relationships, confidence, and helping people feel their absolute best. When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me at home with my husband, two dogs, and two cats, shopping, watching crime shows, or deep-cleaning something that probably didn’t need cleaning in the first place. One thing I never compromise on is hair health, and my unofficial superpower is helping clients achieve the blonde they didn’t think was possible—all while keeping their hair strong, healthy, and beautiful.
